Sorry I’ve been away for a bit. Life just got in the way. As you probably have guessed, there is no pregnancy here. The period showed up as expected and I took clomid 50mg days 2-6 this cycle. I’m currently cycle day 12 and the OPKs are darkening some, but not yet positive.
I was also very emotional around the time I was taking it, but I’m not sure whether it was the clomid or the fact that our landlady sprung on us that she wants us to move out. Apparently her parents want to move into the house. Either way she gave us our notice.
We’ve found a lovely house, but because of a stupid county court judgement (for a gym membership cancellation fee that neither of us knew about!) we have had to get guarantors. Thankfully we have two wonderful people in our lives who volunteered to guarantor us, so we are just waiting for all the checks to go through and we should be good to go. It infuriates me that we need guarantors after paying rent on time and in full every single month for the last eight years. All because of a £114 CCJ that we had no idea about. Nothing we can do about it I guess, I’m just very thankful that there are people in our lives who know we are trustworthy enough for them to stand up and say so.
Anyway, so at the moment we are packing up our lives in preparation for moving probably at the end of this month. I will be sad to leave this home. It has been a lovely place for us. It’s the last place we had Gizmo before he went to rainbow bridge and it is where we conceived and later lost Squishy. It’s been our home for fourteen months, but I guess that’s the crux of renting. The plan once we are settled into the new place is to get some serious saving done each month in order to put down a mortgage on a place in five years or so. Time to grow up…
Speaking of growing up, I turned twenty seven last week. It was a quiet day. We just went to a local designer outlets for some candles and had breakfast out of the house. Everything is on a bit of a slump at the moment because of the house situation, but I’m hoping that as soon as we have names on a contract everything will be ok. It just feels a little wobbly.
Anyhow, I’ll update again as soon as we know for sure about the house, but as I’m sure you can all understand, my mind is a little all over the place at the moment.
