It’s now been twenty eight days since we lost Squishy. Not a whole lot has changed in that time, and I still haven’t had a positive ovulation test despite doing them every day. I figured I would post an update from our world.
I went to the doctor last week and he diagnosed PCOS. Thankfully, I don’t have any cysts on my ovaries – scans when I was pregnant confirmed this – it’s just my hormones that are out of whack. So, I’ve been out back on the dreaded metformin. It turned my stomach last time I was on it, and needless to say it is doing the same this time despite being on the modified release version.
The doctor told me his plan, which I was appreciative of. I will be on metformin for three months, then after that he will add clomid to the mix. He seemed to think it would take no more than clomid for me to be pregnant again. He also said that I need to be prescribed progesterone as soon as I get another positive pregnancy test, so that’s good too. I’m just glad he has a plan.
Fingers crossed it won’t be long until Squishy is back with us

- I’m always happy to get a bit of play time with Eden. We left the house WAY too early to meet Aiden and I was was worried exactly what we were going to do with ourselves. But life is never dull when you’re three and the streets are your playground! ❤️ It seems like all we do is work at the moment. I hate to wish the year away, but I cannot wait for September for Walt Disney World and two weeks of family time. Hoping we might run into @lrdreaming out there too! ❤️Doing our bit...She’s just Eden every day... 😍😍
